*WoW Privatserver: Meine Meinung! 🧐🔥 | Defiler 😈*

Im heutigen Video erzähle ich euch meine Meinung zum Thema WoW Privatserver. Ich spiele schon seit vielen Jahren auf sogenannten Privatservern von World of Warcraft. Das sind Server, die von Privatpersonen betrieben werden und im Grunde von Blizzard nicht erlaubt, aber oftmals geduldet werden
Da die Server oft in Ländern betrieben werden, in denen Blizzard rechtlich nicht gegen sie vorgehen kann, haben sich im Laufe der Zeit viele verschiedene Privatserver etabliert.

Ziel von Privatservern ist es, alte “Versionen” von World of Warcraft spielbar zu machen. Der wohl bekannteste Privatserver war der Server: “Nostalrius” welcher die erste Version von WoW, das sogenannte Vanilla WoW (Classic WoW auf Patch 1.12) angeboten hatte.

Der Server war circa 1 1/2 Jahre am Start und beherbergte zu seinen Spitzenzeiten circa 16.000 Spieler, die gleichzeitig online waren. Server wie Nostalrius haben die Privatserver Szene nachhaltig verändert, und unter anderem hat diese Entwicklung dazu geführt, dass Blizzard reagiert hat und im Sommer 2019 endlich offizielle Classic Server bringt!

Im Video erläutere ich diese Entwicklung kurz und gehe dann darauf ein, welche Rolle Privatserver momentan noch haben, wie das Spielerlebnis auf ihnen ist und wie ich mir die Zukunft der Szene vorstelle.

World of Warcraft: Legion is the sixth expansion set in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following Warlords of Draenor. It was announced on August 6, 2015 at Gamescom 2015. The expansion will be released on August 30, 2016.

The expansion raises the existing level cap from 100 to 110, features artifact weapons for each classes’ specializations, includes a new area on Azeroth called the Broken Isles and introduces the demon hunter hero class that starts at level 98. It will initially include ten 5-man dungeons and two raids.

After the defeat of Archimonde at Hellfire Citadel on the alternate timeline world of Draenor, Gul’dan is pushed through a portal to Azeroth of the main timeline in order to open a way for the Burning Legion to invade in far greater numbers than in the War of the Ancients thousands of years earlier. While exploring the hidden vaults of the Broken Isles, Gul’dan finds a dark crystalline prison containing the corpse of Illidan Stormrage, the former Lord of Outland, who was slain during the events of The Burning Crusade. The Archmage Khadgar, who helped lead the Alliance and Horde player characters against Gul’dan and the Iron Horde on the alternate Draenor
